Questions and concerns that students have throughout their university life.

Frequently Asked Questions

Pregunta número 1 de los estudiantes sobre los registros.
How many credits are required to be considered a regular student?

A minimum of 9 credits and a maximum of 15 credits.

If a non-regular student begins pre-professional internships (corporate or community service), these may count toward credits. This can be done until the fourth week of classes (registering internships in Integra, the department that manages internships: Check the process here). The equivalence is 1 credit for every 48 hours completed. After this period, the Associated Dean Office will validate credits through Academic Information.

Can I take an exam to validate all English courses at once?

To validate English courses, students have two options:

  • The placement exam

  • The knowledge validation exam

Students who have passed the MOOC and have not enrolled in any English course may take the placement exam once, free of charge, and depending on their performance, validate all courses in the program.

Alternatively, the knowledge validation exam must be taken separately for each English course. CELEX schedules and offers three exam dates per semester. If you choose this option, the grade obtained will be recorded in the academic system. Additionally, if you cancel the exam and do not attend, a grade of 0 will be recorded.
