Marketing Fundamentals students presented innovative projects in final semester contest

As part of the academic activities of the Marketing Fundamentals course, students from the Business Administration, Tourism, and Product Design programs developed innovative product and service proposals for the Ecuadorian market, as part of the course's final project.

During the process, the teams analyzed the market environment, defined their target audience, designed their marketing mix, and conducted a focus group to test and improve their proposals before the final presentation.

ESPOL Researchers Publish Study on the Amazon in a Nature Group Journal

A scientific study published in a journal of the Nature group offers new insights into the organization of domestic spaces and food-preparation practices among the societies that once inhabited the Upano Valley in the Ecuadorian Amazon.

The study, titled "Combustion and cooking areas at El Edén archaeological site, Upano Valley, Ecuador—650 BP," was published in npj Heritage Science, part of the prestigious Nature Portfolio, a publishing group recognized worldwide for hosting some of the most influential and rigorous scientific publications.

Marcelo Ortiz Villavicencio, a graduate of the Economics program and the Master’s Degree in Economic Sciences, has been selected to join Amazon as an Economist Ph.D. Intern, a highly competitive position for economists in the final years of their doctoral studies.

New AUDEX Research Seedbed Enhances Research and Data Analytics Skills for Auditing Students

The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FCSH) at ESPOL continues to strengthen the comprehensive education of its students through the creation of AUDEX (Applied Intelligent Auditing and Analytics), the new research seedbed of the Auditing and Management Control program. This initiative is designed to develop competencies in digital auditing, data analytics, process automation, and applied research.
